 Each student will be assigned to a group to complete the crime prevention presentation.The presentation will explain the theory of crime prevention and discuss the three approaches to crime prevention: primary, secondary, and tertiary crime prevention. You will find the link to your group in the Week 10 Folder on Crime Prevention. One member of the group shall be chosen as the leader. It will be the responsibility of the leader to keep the group on task, assign roles, and submit the final project in Blackboard. The leader will also provide feedback to the instructor on the participation of the other members. This assignment is worth up to 25 points. Each member will receive the same score unless the leader informs me the student did not complete their task. In this case, the leader should tell me what score the student has earned. Each leader will earn an additional 5 points for their added duties.

Your presentation may be in the form of paper, power point, or another creative way. The presentation must include all the criteria listed below. If you have questions, please contact your instructor.

Scoring Standard

This presentation is worth up to 25 points. All students must achieve a "C," (20 points or higher) to pass this assignment. Students that receive 19 points or lower will need to resubmit their assignment. The instructor will provide feedback to students and advise what a student needs to resubmit. If a student resubmits the presentation, the highest grade they can achieve is a "C."
