Little Caesars emerged in 1959 in Michigan and now has over 2500 stores. Domino's started in 1960 also in Michigan, and now has over 5000 stores in the United States. Papa John's opened its doors in 1989 Indiana, and now boasts nearly 3000 stores in the United States. These are the largest pizza chains in the country, but certainly not the only ones.
