Earlier this week, the jury delivered its verdict in Depp v. Heard. The jury found Amber Heard liable on all three defamation claims asserted by Johnny Depp and awarded him $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages (reduced to $350,000 per Virginia law). The jury also found Depp liable for defamation based on statements made by his attorney and awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and no punitive damages.
