(5 pts) In order to achieve your educational goal, provide a complete indication of your academic path that would be needed to achieve this goal. (5 pts) Identify one engineering professional organization you would be interested in joining, then discuss that group and what they do, or what they are considered experts in (some groups have specialties). Be sure to include information on how I could join that group if I find your discussion interesting. 4. (10 pts) One of the most popular NAE Grand Challenges is access to clean water. Research and answer the following questions: a. Why is access to clean water one of the most serious issues facing humanity worldwide? b. Explain an instance where providing clean water was a success, and when it failed. c. How does taking a solution to solve this to scale lead to issues and problems? 5. Engineer's discipline d. Engineer's degree(s) Name of company/companies that engineer works/worked for f. Major project(s) that engineer is known for working on (if applicable) g. Any other historical, technical information about that engineer h. Why you chose to study that engineer. i. Citations/References of where you got your information from j. Calibri, Times New Roman or Arial font, point size 12, 1.5 vertical spacing You may choose ANY engineer (i.e. well-known, not so well known, family member, etc.), however, as a minimum you MUST address the ten requirements as indicated above. 8. (10 pts) Related to the previous question, create a double-sided poster (8 " x 11" is fine) or a PowerPoint slide (2 slides for double sides) of the engineer you studied in your paper. This should be like a "baseball card", with the front side having a typical picture of the engineer, as well as their profession and accomplishments. The back side should tell their story, including what their life was likely like when they were your age. 9.
