Ecommerce based DSS Design/Evaluation Assignment

This assignment requires one major essay involving significant amount of research and analysis. The essay involves an analysis, design, and/or evaluation of an online electronic catalog, a website, or an ecommerce platform, enabling/aiding customer to make purchasing decision. Such a system will be called an Ecommerce (based) Decision Support System (EDSS) with the goal to assist (or enable) customer buying decisions and transactions from electronic platforms. We are essentially referring to web-based decision support systems to assist/enable ecommerce activities (i.e., evaluation selection and buying activities) from electronic catalogs, and/or similar platforms. For this task, you must make considerations of EDSS design and implementation. In the discussion below, I am providing introductory details about the factors involved in this EDSS design and implementation problem.
