Ed met a couple of girls at a local bar on E. Colfax Ave. They told him they were just a couple of "working girls" (prostitutes) making some good money acting as "providers" for local gentlemen. They told Ed they were in need of transportation to and from their apartment to Colfax. Ed agreed to provide the transportation. Every Friday and Saturday at around 9pm he would pick up the girls from their apartment in North Denver and drop them off at E. Colfax and Emerson St. At around 2:00am, he would pick up the girls at the same location. Upon being picked up, the girls would give Ed $100. Ed was happy for the money since he had a very low paying job. He used this money to pay rent, utilities, and groceries.

By accepting the money did Ed violate any laws?
