Edinburgh, Pape-Blabolil, Harpin, & Saewyc (2015) used mixed methods to study the sexual exploitation experiences of youth being seen in a Child Advocacy Center in St. Paul, MN. At first submission of the manuscript for publication, reviewers were skeptical of using inferential statistics for such a small sample size (n= 62), but asked for effect sizes to explain differences by gender and whether a pimp was involved in the exploitation.
