Each group after the random assignment will receive their assigned intervention for ten weeks. At the end of the intervention, you plan to measure each group's achievement with a chemistry misconception test that has a population mean of 80 and a population variance of 160. You believe, based on prior literature, that the scores of the project intervention will be 9 points higher than scores of the studio intervention. Your initial plan is to use n=40 students in each of your intervention groups. a) You assume that the alternative is that there is a true difference between groups of 9 points, sketch a picture of what these two distributions look like (the null and the alternative) using (1:.05 (Z-taiied).
