Educational Reform: Investigating factors that facilitate or hinder change in teachers' practice

note: The project will examine determinants of success at school leader level and teacher level (such as school, climate level)It is anticipated that study will be carried out in the HDR student's country of origin

• Investigate school level factor that support teacher as they introduce a change initiative in to the class room
• Investigate teacher related factors (eg. Beliefs assumptions and views) that facilitate and impede the implementation of change initiative.
• Examine the role and effectiveness of professional learning provided to inform the implementation of the change initiative.
• Examine the effectiveness of implementing the change inniatatitve by examining changes in:
• Student perception of the learning environment
• Teaching practice
• Students outcome (engagements and achievements)
