Recently, I have been given the responsibility of acting as the purchasing agent for both the Holmes and Washington County School-Based Dental Programs. This role was not initially part of my job description. This additional responsibility involved many training courses and hands-on learning experiences. This learning experience involved a considerable amount of time, effort, and expertise. Through all the training courses and learning objectives for this new role, not once did my daily work assignments or the program's daily production become hindered. Learning this role was initially challenging, but adding this responsibility to my position description is one I feel is very beneficial to the overall program
