Elena a Danish residentwants to set up an internet business specialising in selling horse riding equipment.

She wants to import a new brand of horse saddle manufactured by the French company cheval equipment.

Danish manufacturers of riding equipment are not too happy about the detrimental effect that the sale of this French saddle might have on their industry and have exerted pressure on the Danish government to take action to limit the import of this new product.

Elena has recently learnt that the Danish authorities intend to:

a)impose quality inspections on all imported saddles manufactured by "Cheval Equipement" for which they would charge a fee of 300 Danish crowns per saddle; and

b)impose separate inspections on all French saddles on the ground that, according to the latest research conducted in Denmark, some French saddles, including La Super Selle, may cause irreversible back injuries to horses;

c)prohibit the advertising of Cheval Equipement's saddles in Danish horse riding magazines .

Those intended measures would seriously undermine Elena's business.
