Eli was a door-to-door salesperson with Cleanco, a household cleaning manufacturer. Eli knocked on the door of the house of Mr. and Mrs. James. Mr. James was not at home and Mrs. James opened the door. Mrs. James agreed to buy many items from Eli and paid $500 in cash to Eli. When Mr. James returned, he was surprised by the quantity of cleaning products purchased from Eli. After some discussion, they did not want the cleaning products.
