Elliott, an electrician, received a call from Harry, a homeowner, to install some light fixtures in Harry's house. Elliot was putting the light fixtures in his van and carelessly failed to properly close the back door of his van. As Elliot was driving to Harry's house, he made a right turn which caused the light fixtures to fall out of the van onto the road directly behind the van. Victor was riding his motorcycle (while complying with all the traffic rules) immediately behind the van. When Victor saw the falling light fixtures, he swerved the motorcycle and crashed onto the curb. Victor flew off his motorcycle and landed on Sally, a pedestrian who was on her way for a job interview which she had scheduled a week before. As a result of the accident, Victor's arm was broken, Sally suffered a broken foot and Sally did not make the job interview and lost the job. A. May Victor recover from Elliot for his injuries?
