Email Instructions

Choose one of the following business processes to instruct on that you are familiar with and have enough knowledge on to complete this assessment without doing research:

• how to book a virtual meeting for multiple people using MS Outlook, which includes creating and linking a zoom call, attaching documents, and sending notifications
• how to operate a central photocopier/printer, including how to copy using a code, print documents from email, and scan documents to email
• how to close a shift in a restaurant/retail store etc... including cleaning, restocking, and cashing out procedures
• how to conduct a business interview, including question preparation, possible assessments, and interview etiquette
• how to create a social media page for business, including preparing a schedule, starting the page, and follow up tasks

Create a set of instructions that includes an introduction, a step-by-step body, and a conclusion. The purpose is for you to generate your own instructions, NOT to copy the instructions from an online source. Include ONLY 1 quotation from an online source. Be sure to use quotation marks to identify the quote. Include an intext citation and an end reference.

Include 15 - 25 sequential steps using commands.

Sub-divide the steps into sections with a brief summary between sections.

Complete individually without help from any external source besides your coursework.

Address the email (To: and greeting) as appropriate for the topic and audience.

Prepare the instructions in an email template including the basic email principles learned.

Business documents do not have a word limit. The idea is that you are brief, clear, and to the point, including all the necessary information, no more, no less.
