Employee voice (EV) is a concept that has become increasingly prevalent within Human Resource Management (HRM) literature in recent years (Wilkinson et al., 2018). This report's central focus is that of EV. First, EV will be defined and the different frameworks, forms and the purpose of EV will be critically discussed. Then, EV will be explored from the perspective of three key actors: the state, trade unions (TUs) and management. This exploration will also seek to identify where the perspective of the actors to EV impacts the approach of other actors, highlighting how these three actors' approaches are interconnected.
