An organization would like to evaluate a new onboarding program. To do so, new employees are randomly assigned to either receive the new onboarding training program or go through the existing onboarding training program. A posttest-only, with control group design in use, and the posttest outcomes include measures of Safety Violations, Safety Knowledge, and Feelings of Acceptance, which are administered 6 months after all new employees joined the organization. Higher scores on each of those measures indicate higher levels of the concept. Using data found in the Activity Data sheet of the Excel workbook, do and respond to the following: 1. Create a pivot table and chart that displays compares the two training groups on all three post test outcomes. Be sure to also create a proper title and customize the chart so that is would be presentable to stakeholders. Remember, to change the values in the pivot table from sum to average. 2. Run three independent-samples t tests in which you compare the average levels of safety violations, safety knowledge, and feelings of acceptance for those who participated in the new onboarding program (New Onboarding) and those who completed the existing onboarding program (Current Practice). What did you find Report the means, t -test, and p value for each comparison? Then describe your interpretation of the findings? 3. Based on these analyses, what is the overall impression of the organizations new onboarding program, was it effective? explain assuming the program costs are similar 4. Thinking about the 4 criteria for training evaluation (reactions, knowledge, behaviors, results), which criteria were evaluated, and what additional outcomes could we measure to be able to evaluate each of the four training outcome categories?
