Employees who do risky jobs (e.g., construction) are aware of the risk and are often paid extra due to the hazards they face. They need to undertake training and takes responsibility for their own safety. It is not the responsibility of the employer to keep all the employees safe. Often employees are injured at work due to their own negligence or laziness. An employer cannot be accountable for everything that happens in the workplace.
