Employment at Will States are all States except: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Nebraska, New York and Rhode Island.

Definition: At-will means that an employer can terminate an employee at any time for any reason, except an illegal one, or for no reason without incurring legal liability. Likewise, an employee is free to leave a job at any time for any or no reason with no adverse legal consequences

1. Many states recognize exceptions to the Employment at Will Doctrine. From an employer's perspective, would the employer this it is good or bad that Georgia does not recognize these exceptions?
2. Why would an employer think that Georgia has chosen not to recognize them?
