By relying on detailed activities provided in Figure 1 on the National Youth Employment Project, you are required to perform the following activities under component 1, 2 and 3:
(a) Prepare a total project budget within a range of 500,000 to 1,000,000 Ghana Cedis.                              
(b) Given that about 50% of activities have been undertaken on component 1 and 2, determine with the aid of appropriate Table or Chart your cost variances and explain their relevance in project cost tracking.                                                                    
(c) Determine all the remaining costs on component 2 and 3 of the National Youth Employment Project in Tabular form and explain their significance

a) As part of a nation-wide intervention efforts to minimize deforestation in Ghana to combat the adverse effect of climate change, the Forestry Commission has entered into partnership with Eco-green Ghana, a Civil Society
Organization in the business of championing greening of the environment to undertake tree planting across five (5) pilot districts in Ghana. The Districts are Bongo East, Karaga, Nanumba, Chereponi and Nadowli. The project
components are as follows:

Component 1: Community Sensitization, Gathering of Seedlings and Recruitment of Tree Planters

Component 2: Training of Tree Planters and Assignment of Tasks

Component 3: Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

You are required to use the information provided on the tree planting project to:

(a) Develop a matrix that can monitor the project activities. Limit yourself to one project objective and a minimum of five main activities and indicators;                


(b) Develop a risk management plan to track your project activities;            

(c) Explain your approach to risk communication on the afforestation project to key stakeholders.
