Engineers, as design professionals have a pivotal role in construction projects. However, their decision-making powers may have narrow or broad implications when the complexity of the legal relationships among the multitude of parties; design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, in the construction project are considered. In your opinion:

1)What relationships and circumstances would give rise to an Engineer to have either narrow or broad implications in a project?

2)What are the positive and negative aspects of each circumstance?
