Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the marketing concept Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the largest car-rental company in the United States, with more than 9,000 'home city" locations and 419 airport locations. Its primary focus is the local rental car market, specialising in car rentals to consumers who need a replacement car as the result of an Accident, mechanical repair, theft or who require a vehicle for a special occasion such as a short business or leisure trip. In 1995, Enterprise Rent-A-Car also began expanding its operations to include the airport market and now serves airports in the United States, Canada, the UK, Spain, Germany, Ireland and most recently South Africa. Enterprise rents a wide variety of vehicles that range from economy cars to luxury vehicles. It also rents commercial cargo vans, pickup trucks and box trucks under the Enterprise Truck Rental brand. By 2005, Enterprise Rent-A-Car's customer service had been recognised seven times by J.D. Power and Associates as highest in customer satisfaction for rental car companies at or near airports. The company was named ninth on Business Week's top 25 companies customer service list in 2007 (Business Week, 2007). Enterprise Rent-A-Car found that its customers did not want to have to drive to its offices. Therefore, Enterprise began delivering vehicles to customers' homes or places of work. Today, companies of every size in all industries are applying this marketing concept. Enterprise Rent-A-Car was suddenly confronted by a new challenge in South Africa. The South African government, through the urban councils, has passed several laws that are meant to reduce transport congestion in the cities by prohibiting vehicles from parking in the city centre. Those cars emitting smoke will also be barred and their driverswill be fined. The laws were necessitated by the recent economic boom in South Africa which has seen consumer incomes rising. Banks are also dishing out personal loans to those with regular incomes.Assume Enterprise Rent-A-Car has established that people are not yet aware of the fact that the company delivers cars to people's homes. In your own words discuss suitable communication tools that Enterprise Rent- A-Car must adopt to navigate successfully through the awareness and interest stages of the consumer adoption process. Three (3) marks will be awarded for correctly discussing the suitable communication tools for each of the two stages of the adoption process
