Equipment was Forced circulation evaporator ,feed 3% sodium nitrate solution and output 2200liter per hour of condensed water and sodium nitrate crystal, Inputs are heat 115 degree celcious temperature vacuum of 700mmWc was provided, For cooling 200TR chiller was provided , please implement the following in a step-by-step manner:
1. Identify the control variables, manipulated variables, and the disturbance
variables.
2. Try to develop a dynamic model of the system using material and energy
balance equations. You can do some literature review to directly obtain the
already existing models corresponding to your work domain by searching a few
research articles.
3. Perform degrees of freedom analysis.
4. Develop a transfer function model to correlate the control variable (output)
with the manipulated and disturbance (input) variables.
5. Identify if it is a first order/ second order model.
6. Consider unit step, ramp, and impulse inputs and identify the response of the
output control variable in time domain.
