Subject of my paper:Mining and Global Business

Why writing about this topic will be beneficial to me:I've spoken to some of my classmates about the food prices in their countries, as well as the prices we have here, and came to a conclusion that I lack in-depth knowledge of how crucial role the monetary value of food products has on the entire economies. I believe that this research will help me to better understand other concepts such as overpopulation, government policies, exploitation and business approach and practices in different countries in relation to food prices. Learning about this may help me decide whether to return to my family's grocery business.

My essay statement:Food prices are and will be a major determinant of quality of life, business and economy worldwide.

Approach to the subject of my paper: In the paper, I intend to look at some of the choices that have been made in the past regarding food policies, what it is now, and where it should be headed. Next, the effect policies and prices have on affordability and quality of life. Furthermore, I want to demonstrate the impact of food prices and its distribution on business globally by comparison of stats among several countries. Finally, explain what other economic changes are fluctuating due to the food prices, and what causes the prices to rise. I hope to support each section of my essay with statistical or analytical data gathered from valid websites and LRC resources.

Documentation style:I will use APA style for this paper.

Kinds of sources I will use and how will they benefit my paper: My primary sources will be internet-based blogs (community opinions), news articles (facts), government websites (policy), LRC resource center (scholarly articles and books for evidence). All of above sources will benefit the quality of my paper and formulation of an unbiased work, based on many viewpoints.
