Ethel is a fiercely competitive cake baker. She enters every baking competition in her area, andusually gains first place. The township is running a baking competition to raise money for alocal charity. Her friend, Margery, works for the local council organising this event. Ethel knowsthat Margery is seeking funding for her campaign to become General Manager of the localcouncil. Ethel tells Margery that if she ensures her win in the baking competition, Ethel willsecure financial support for Margery's campaign to become General Manager. Margery agrees,and ensures that Ethel wins the competition with her apple cake. Ethel, however, does notcontribute any financial support to Margery's campaign. Can Margery enforce their agreement?
