Ethical decisions of a businesses are ultimately made by individual people running the business. Traditionally, the ethical responsibility of these individuals was to maximize the profitability of the business while complying with all laws. This view has been changing with the concept of corporate social responsibility, which would require businesses to give back some of the profits for the benefit of stakeholders and society.
