Ethics and Corrections (Prisons). Throughout the Criminal Justice System (CJS) which consists of Cops, Courts, and Corrections, there are general ethical issues and each sector, because of their responsibilities, is faced with ethical challenges that are unique to them.

We examined the ethical issues faced by officers that work in a prison setting. Some of their issues are even different from officers that work in jails, as you will see. In prisons officers are dealing with a different type pf prisoner because of the nature of their crimes and sentences.
