Ethics in Criminal Justice II- Module 15 Assignment-

As we have discussed, most police departments' motto(s) are something akin to 'To Serve and Protect.' In recent decades, the police, as a whole, have come under scrutiny for police brutality, racism, and not making good on their motto. Some have called for reform, minor tweaks, and further yet, even defunding the police. What does defunding the police really mean, should we do it, what are the ramifications, and what are the Ethics of such a movement?
