Eton, Oklahoma wishes to promote a number of their firefighters to supervisory positions. In order to determine who gets the promotion, the city conducts a standardized firefighter supervisor test (this is the test that is the industry standard and is administered nationwide). The results of the test show that none of the African-American candidates passed the test, while a number of Hispanic and white candidates passed the test. The city is concerned that no African-Americans passed and decides to invalidate the test results. Is there anything that the African-American candidates can do?
