evaluate and write answer in scientific notation and rounded to 2 digits

2.5 x 10^2

8.9 x 10^-3

2.5 / 8.9 = 0.28--------> rounded to 2.8

now the exponents

10^2

10^-3

since its in division format I would subtract both exponents right? 10^ 2-(-3) ??

my final answer would be 2.8 x 10^-1 but that wrong....

please help!
