Even though I've watched all the videos and read the required texts this week I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind around what exactly equity is. I understand the equation Assets = Liabilities + Equity, but I can never figure out when to increase and decrease equity during a transaction. Can anyone please dumb it down for me? thank you.
