Managers decide the tasks that are grouped into jobs, and these jobs become roles in the organizations design. In this assignment, youll get to see how culture drives structure.

Instructions:

1. Suppose you want to start your own organization. It can be anything from a baseball team to a bank, to a record label. Just make sure it is the type of business everyone understands, and one that everyone can be excited working at. Describe your organization.
2. What are your organizations values? Explain why each of them were chosen.
3. Describe the characteristics of your organizations culture. Identify the type of culture you have created using the Competing Values Framework.
4. Identify and discuss each of the seven common elements of an organization. Which type of structure do you think your organization is? Explain.
