After finishing the Budget Puzzle, discuss what budget cuts you made, and (most importantly)why? Makesureyou would be able to explain to all the special-interest groups youwould alienatewhyyou are cutting what you're cutting. (For example: if you cut funding for the military, you are going to enragefolks that want to have a strong military; if you cut funding for Health Care, you are going to make those folks that depend on Medicare/Medicaid very mad; if you cut Social Security benefits, you are going to make awholelot of seniors really, really angry. (and theyvote!!!). Of course, if you suggest tax increases to balance the budget, you are going to makeeveryoneunhappy).
