Example or correction on Present Levels of Functional Performance: Leilani's levels of functional performance as it relates to her cognitive abilities were measured through administration of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition (WISC-V). Overall, Leilani's performance on the WISC-V yielded a Full-Scale IQ (FSIQ) in the average range (SS = 99; 95% CI = 93-105) where she performed as well as or better than 47 percent of her same-age peers. There was significant variation between her performance on subtests contributing to the Verbal Comprehension Index (VCI), Fluid Reasoning Index (FRI), Working Memory Index (WMI), and Processing Speed Index (PSI), so these composite areas should be interpreted with some degree of caution, as they are likely not uniform representations of their respective areas of cognitive ability. Her performance on subtests contributing to the FSIQ showed less variation, however, so it is thought that the FSIQ should be considered the most valid global estimation of her current range of cognitive abilities, and it will be interpreted as such
