Explain detaily why congestion control is a important in TCP protocol and how flow control technique works in mitigating traffic congestion. ================================================ For your information Congestion control is important in TCP protocol because it helps to regulate the amount of traffic that is sent over a network. Explanation: This is done by using a technique called flow control. Flow control helps to regulate the flow of traffic by monitoring the amount of traffic that is being sent and received. If the amount of traffic that is being sent exceeds the amount of traffic that is being received, the flow control mechanism will throttle back the amount of traffic that is being sent. This helps to prevent congestion and ensures that all packets are delivered in a timely manner. TCP Congestion Control techniques prevent congestion or help mitigate the congestion after it occurs. Unlike the sliding window (rwnd) used in the flow control mechanism and maintained by the receiver, TCP uses the congestion window (cwnd) maintained by the sender. Flow control is important in TCP protocol because it helps to regulate the amount of traffic that is sent over a network. This is done by using a technique called flow control
