“Which network topology is the best for a school? Also, which means of transmission should be used?”

1. This question has 2 parts. In first part you have to define which topology you will use to connect all departments or buildings of school and why. In second part you will define that through which medium you will connect all departments or buildings of school either wire or wireless and why you are using this why not other one.
2.  The best advice I can give regarding network topology is that you should be deeply familiar with the needs and usage requirements. The total number of nodes on the network is one of the primary considerations to account for, as this will dictate whether it’s feasible to use a simpler topology. You may consider different buildings of school campus or different departments of school campus. As I mentioned earlier, no one topology is “best.” Each offers its own set of perks and drawbacks, depending on the network environment you’re working with or attempting to set up.
