It cannot be denied that there have been claims about some accountants not complying with expected professional and ethical standards. Accordingly, some of them focus too much on technical issues and while others lack ethical sensitivity to recognize ethical dilemmas involved with their work, which would ultimately lead to making wrong decisions.

Hence, accountants should be trained to be sensitive to identify the moral dimension of seemingly technical issues.
