Exploring Connectivity

1. Use a search engine to search for examples of the following types of websites: news, e-commerce, and blog.

2. Open each website in a different tab.

3. Explore each website and answer the following questions:

a. What social media tools are included in the website to promote connectivity? Give examples to support your answer.

b. What contact information appears on each page of the website? Is there a separate contact page?

c. Can you create an account on the website? What advantages might you have if you created an account on the website? What privacy settings exist?

4. Save your findings on your computer with your last name in the file name. (Example: part_01_Jones.doc). Click the Choose File button below to find and select your saved document, and submit.
