Facebook has taken far too much liberty with their privacy and advertisement policies. They have done nothing for their users in terms of privacy protection and have encouraged a toxic policy of allowing false information to be advertised. I am surprised and glad that Facebook deleted the name of the potential whistleblower and I see it as a first-step toward stronger privacy protections for Facebook users. This is only beneficial for them because it will create greater trust, seeing as that's something they are suffering from currently.
