In this meeting you will need to:

  • Provide an introduction to prototyping and testing as per the Design Thinking approach
  • Put together a prototype plan for implementing the innovative idea/s - remember to reinforce the value of innovation and remind the team of the purpose of the activity
    • Review service policies and procedures to remain within required guidelines
    • Assign responsibilities, roles and deliverables for implementing the plan
    • Establish core drivers, milestones and documentation for recording progress and outcomes
    • Determine how you will measure success
    • Determine how you will involve and communicate with stakeholders throughout the testing phase
    • Discuss emotional intelligence and change management strategies for implementing the innovative change that is respectful and considerate of service personnel and community members.
  • Using your prototype plan, update your WIP with timelines and tasks assigned to members of the team, ready to commence implementation, once the plan is approved.
  • Ensure the team is confident and clear about expectations and where required, provide training to enable everyone to complete tasks assigned to them.
  • Share the Prototype plan and WIP with your Supervisor and if they're satisfied, have them sign their approval on the plan. If not, liaise with your team to reach a mutually agreeable plan for implementation.
  • Remember to acknowledge and celebrate the strengths, achievement and efforts of each and every team member, using the chosen method established in the first meeting.
