Fact Scenario:

In this part of the assignment, you will interview your client. It is good practice to have the client tell their story in their own words in writing. Once you review their facts and evidence, you should prepare for a meeting with the client. This is a great opportunity for you to answer the client's questions and concerns, and to better understand the case.

  1. Prepare questions for your client, 20 - 40 questions. Each student in the group should practice asking 4 - 9 questions. The roles can alternate. For example, one individual from the group will ask 10 questions being the representative, and another group member will act as the client and answer the questions. The questions should be formulated based on your group's research and findings. After the 10 questions, another member will have an opportunity to ask questions and so forth, allowing each member to fully particulate in the roles, in order to understand the representative's position and client's. The groups will present before the class.
