Michael Alexander Constantine owned a Peugeot X-9000 automobile that he insured through an insurance broker, Southern-Hawaiian Insurance Company. Southern-Hawaiian secured a policy for Constantine with the Miners Insurance Company. Constantine gave permission to his friend, Barbie Ken, to use the car. Barbie Ken held a valid North Dakota driver's license. Constantine did not receive any compensation for permitting Barbie Ken to use his vehicle.
