Who wrote the book of Numbers? 2. What is the setting of the book of Numbers? 3. What's the big idea? How and what does God continue to remind Israel of? 4. How can you apply this to your life as a Christian? 5. Paul references the journey of the Israelites through the wilderness in his first letter to the Corinthian church. "These things happened," he wrote in 1 Corinthians 10:6, "as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved." Do you see any resemblance between the grumbling, rebellious Israelites and yourself? How can you avoid following their example? 6. Read Hebrews 12:3-11.
