\fAn unpaid seller has the right to withhold delivery of goods until paid by the seller. Where goods have been damaged before they have passed to the buyer, the loss is borne by the seller. When a seller sends goods to a carrier for delivery to a buyer, the carrier is scen as the buyer's agent and ownership will pass at this point. If goods are transterred under a barter agreement or given free of charge, they are covered by the Sale of Goods Acts
