How again, while they may not be the biggest factor of the invasion, these resource deposits can play a fairly massive role in Russia's decisions. Multiple International Corporations had interest and stakes in developing two of these larger sites in Ukraine but the war caused that to be stopped and many are unsure if Russia will even attempt to utilize or even recognize that there is any Lithium to be found in some of the occupied regions already. The article ends with a little bit more direct numbers of some of the other resources found in Ukraine and what a protracted war could do to both the economy of Ukraine and the availability of these resources to outside participants.
