ASSESSMENT 2 - CASE STUDY SCENARIO The company 'Office wise' provides office furniture and has a range of stock that is aimed towards the young and trendy spectrum of the office furniture market. The products are inexpensive, colourful and are not designed to last. The company 'Office wise' sales have decreased recently. The sales team have identified that the previous customers are generally older professional people looking for classic style and quality products. The displays within the store have become confusing and do not seem to achieve any goal in tenns of marketing an image of the business. The current Vision Statement of the business is: We value our customers and staff. We will provide the best products, services and retail environment to suit our customer's needs. The staff members at 'Office wise' are disgruntled and upset that in the past management has not listened to their suggestions for improvement of business practices. You have been employed as a Manager to help the business increase sales. You have decided that the business requires a new Vision Statement and some new goals and targets need to be determined. In order to develop new goals and a Vision Statement, you have decided to hold a team meeting to involve staff in the development of these.
