The contractor must furnish all supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the performance of the work of this contract unless otherwise specified herein. Section 5 Specific Tasks 5.1. General Information 5.1.1. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform janitorial and related services, except as specified in Section 3 as government-furnished property and services, at Federal Building No. 3, Capital City, DR 11811. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this con- tract. (See Exhibit 1, Performance Requirements Summary.) The estimated quantities of work are listed in Exhibit 2, Workload Estimates. 5.2 Room Cleaning (includes all corridor, space adjacent to rooms, guard booths/desks). The contractor shall clean all rooms and collect solid waste daily. The contractor shall dust horizontal surfaces and spot clean rugs and other external surfaces as necessary. The con- tractor shall strip and wax bare floors and shampoo rugs every six months. The area de- scribed by paragraph 5.9 is excepted. 5.3. Toilet Rooms. The contractor shall clean all fixtures, floors, and surfaces, replenish supplies, and collect solid waste daily. The contractor shall strip/wash floors every three months. The area described by paragraph 5.9 is excepted. 5.4. Drinking Fountains. The contractor shall clean daily. 5.5. Entrances, Main Lobbies (including tunnel between FB No. 3 and FB No. 4), Corri- dors, and Stairways. The contractor shall police these areas every day. The contractor shall sweep floors and vacuum rugs areas every two days. The contractor shall strip/wax bare floors and shampoo rugs every three months. The area described by paragraph 5.9 is excepted. 5.6. Passenger Elevators. The contractor shall police the interior daily. The contractor shall clean interior surfaces twice weekly. The contractor shall strip/wax floors semi- annually. The area described by paragraph 5.9 is excepted.
