Fill in the blanks: Historically, Grassroots organizations are more often underfunded and composed of people of color, Tribal communities, and those with limited socio-economic means living on the frontlines near hazardous conditions that adversely affect their health and environment. They have much expertise, but they typically have less resources or capacity to achieve protective policies, corrective actions, or funding for environmental amenities. Meanwhile, mainstream environmental organizations usually have more access to wealth, are less racially and ethnically diverse, and have more capacity to impact environmental policymaking. They may or may not live near hazardous conditions, and they may or may not center the priorities of these communities and grassroots organizations in their advocacy efforts
