Final Paper

Pick a company, using a scholarly source

Include the following Sections (designed to reflect the typical format of a legal brief):

(1) Introduction Section,

(2) Statement of the Facts Section,

(3) Statement of the Law Section (what law, regulation, or political faux pas has been violated),

(4) Argument Section (what each party argued to support their case),

(5) Statement of Outcome Section (the resolution or current status), and

(6) Conclusion section (as you would include in any scholarly paper).

In your Conclusion Section, write:

1. Whether you support or oppose your source's (the journal article, court case, magazine article, etc.) position on the actions of the corporation you chose, and include an explanation of why or why not, and

2. What changes or recommendations you would institute, were you the CEO, to prevent similar results for the company in the future.

*Use as much other background research on the issue as is needed to reach the length of the paper.
