Final Project: A Historical Debate Project

Purpose: This activity assesses your comprehension of course materials.

Guidelines: Your task is to set up a debate and discussion group among eight to ten panel members whom you will gather from the past and present, across space and time, for the purpose of this discussion. Your panel should be made up of real life people and include leaders from several areas of specialization: historians, scientists, psychologists, people from the arts, ethnographers, medical professionals, politicians, cultural leaders, specialists on gender research and so on. Make your panel as diverse as possible. Its members may represent any historical period, culture, or place. Be sure your panel includes individuals who have made contributions to ideas about gender.
