You conduct Weight Loss Reseacrh on samples of 15 men and 10 women. One measurement you make is the number of pounds loss over 3 month period;after undergoing a strict workout regiment. To completed this research it will need use the excel data radomizer and analyze the data.
do a one paragraph introduction to your research, discuss how you selected your sample (is it a random sample?), and write a one paragraph conclusion.
Present your data in an organized manner.
PART 1: Answer the following questions
- Which group loss more weight on average Men or Women? Show your work to how you determined your answer.
- Find the Average number of days worked out for the entire group N = 25.
- Find the Mode of the Favorite workout; Back, Chest, Legs or Arms?
PART 2: HYPOTHESIS TESTING
- You must calculate the following statistics... total average weight loss for the entire population of 25 males and females and the standard deviation N = 25.
- You must also pick a random sample of 5 males and 5 femalesand calculate the total average weight loss for this sample of interest in pounds, n = 10.
- Construct a complete hypothesis test and determine if the two groups (population mean () vs sample mean(x-bar)) have significantly different weight loss averages using
Alpha Level -> = 0.05.

TASK:
1) Compute the Population Mean, Variance and Standard Deviation of the 25 personsin pounds.
2) Construct a complete hypothesis test and determine if the two groups (population mean vs sample mean) have significantly different balance using Alpha Level -> = 0.05.
The Hypothesis Test should include:
1. Null and Alternative Hypothesis 2. Standard Error of the Mean 3. Standard Score Zscore
4. Alpha Level -Critical Zscores(two-tail test) 5. Conclusion: a. fail to reject H0 or b. reject H0
Part 3:
6. Conclusion with reference to original hypothesis statement; state "if the two groups (population mean vs sample mean) have significantly different weight loss averages". Also include your overall synopis of this course and your project.
